OneAdvent CEO, Tim Quayle, has been featured in Insurance Post’s MGA Forecast of 2026, sharing his outlook on the MGA market for the year ahead.
According to Tim, the MGA sector goes into 2026 in a position of real strength;
“The MGA sector is booming, and we don’t think it will slow down in 2026”.
He found both continued growth and new entrants as defining themes for the year ahead, adding:
“We are witnessing robust growth, and an incredible number of emerging, talented MGAs entering the market”.
Of course, he also expects Europe to remain a major focus area;
“We also anticipate seeing many more opportunities play out in Europe, as the market continues to mature and sophisticate.”
When asked his one wish for 2026, it was onto important matters of sport (and some early disappointment sadly). “I’m counting it as one wish, but I would love to see Ben Stokes lift the urn and Harry Kane lift the World Cup next year!”.
After a year of insightful and successful conferences for the OneAdvent team, we hope that 2026 will be full of the same, with one unique addition… Tim’s own dream event would be titled ‘MGAs Beyond Borders’, designed to celebrate ‘the cross-market collaboration happening all over Europe.’ Of course, he added that it would ideally be held in the Loire Valley, Bordeaux or Champagne regions for obvious reasons…
